The project is an extension on the existing hospital. The architectural design was carried out from a foreign country. JSA carried out the structural Design and supervision along with construction management.

The plinth area of the building is 765 square meter (8231 square feet). Due to lack of budget, finishing was carried out for one storey only. The project is mainly a maternity health suite. There are all facilities on maternity cases as pre-labor room, labor room, delivery room, operation theater and ward. The facilities as general male and female ward of 10 beds capacity on each ward, nurse station, ultrasound room and administrative offices are included in this building.

Beside the building work, JSA also carried construction management and supervision of the services like ramp, staircases etc. of the building.

The building structure was constructed as R.C.C frame structure with brick infill walls.

The project is a renovation and extension of an existing Rana building located at Lainchour. The total plinth area of the renovated building is 188.86 square meter with a new extension of 25.81 square meter. There is a meeting hall, office rooms, kitchen/dining room on the ground floor with EU Delegate’s office and other office rooms located on the first floor. All the office rooms including the meeting hall have bamboo flooring. The lobby and corridors are finished with marble flooring. Roof is treated with water proofing membrane.

The main structural system of the existing building is a mix of pure brick masonry and reinforced concrete. All the openings and corners of the building are retrofitted and strengthened for seismic resistance during renovation. The columns are metal jacketed and all the doors and windows are encased in a reinforced concrete box monolithically interconnected with floor beams and slab.

The modern architectural style is incorporated in an original Rana period structure with use of aluminum doors and windows, bamboo flooring etc. The layout is planned to suit the need of foreign delegation.

The project is the vertical extension on existing single storied structure. Two storeys were added to create space for classrooms. The plinth area of the structure is 7682 square feet.
The structure includes precast slab on cavity walls. The tiled slope roof is supported on steel truss system. There is false ceiling in the interior of the building.
The design adopts local traditional architecture. The fair faced brick walls with local architectural details and the sloped roof enhance traditional architectural style. The openings are decorated with arches. A separate stair tower highlights staircase blocks. Arches are also incorporated in this stair tower for aesthetic purpose.

The project is the extension of Bishankhu Narayan Secondary School at Godamchaur. The Master Plan includes a football ground with running track, basket ball court, volley ball court and a children’s park along with three buildings (library block, nursing institute block and a club house).
The Master plan incorporates the diversion of the existing road with improvement of existing drainage system. The master plan aims at providing spaces for sport activities with minimum disturbance to the existing classroom, proposed library and the proposed club house. Given the physical setting of the site the planning is carried out in linear format with close interrelation between each of the activities.
The project will be implemented in phases and the first phase will include the diversion of the existing road and construction of the main drain and a volley ball court. The phases are worked out as per the availability of funds from the donor agency.

The project is an orthopedic hospital and rehabilitation centre for disabled children with full supporting facilities inside the complex. The plinth area is 4,650 square meter (50,034 square feet). Hospital services consist of: In Patient Department (IPD), Out Patient Department (OPD), and Operation
Suite with 3 operation theatres (OT), Physiotherapy, Spinal cord Injury (SCI), Rehabilitation and Training, X-Ray Section, Laboratory Section, Central Sterilized Support Division (CSSD) and administration. There are altogether 63 beds in the hospital. There is separate building for an orthopedic workshop.
The hospital has its own electrical incinerator, generator and all clinical gas facilities. The architecture of the hospital adopts a local style. The concept was derived from ancient Newari palaces of the Kathmandu Valley; buildings arranged around several courtyards.
