HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY SERVICE TEAM

Located in the far west of Nepal, this hospital serves over one million people from Dadeldhura and the surrounding seven districts, with 50 beds and 66 staff currently and with the extension program it will be serving with additional 150 beds. It began as a tent dispensary in 1968, established by TEAM Nepal, and continues to serve this remote region which lacks the most basic needs.

The project involves the relocation of the existing hospital building with two additional blocks, block A and block B with 4645 sq. m area. Block A consists of Emergency ward, surgical ward, Operation theaters, Gynecology section and delivery ward. Whereas block B consists of the Lab, Dental Department, X-ray and OPD etc,

The building is designed in frame structure and hollow block walls are used for the purpose of insulation.
