RENOVATION OF CLUB AT BRITISH EMBASSY

This project is a renovation of British Embassy Club hall. Renovation of building facade, the roof and the entire interior was carried out.
Exterior facade renovation: Wood carved trellises and a fire place was designed in the front of the building. Clay tiles are used on the roof of the fire place. The concrete tiled exterior flooring was converted into traditional clay tiled flooring.
Interior renovation: Client required a 17th century English club with low height ceiling, wooden floor and ample wooden decorative elements.
Wooden decorative details were extensively used like brass striped wooden pilasters on the walls, wooden rafters on the ceiling, wooden floor with wooden skirting, wooden furniture and wooden partitions etc. The A/C ducts were concealed inside wooden decorative boxes. The design of the bar top with solid wood is influenced from ancient architecture
